[Appearance] Take an appropriate amount of this product, and look at it under the bright place of natural light. It should be colorless transparent or brown transparent; there should be no obvious glass defects; no cracks in any part; the color point should be marked above the center of the nick, and the deviation from the center line should not exceed ±1.0 mm.
[Identification]* (1) The coefficient of the linear thermal expansion Take an appropriate amount of this product and to measure them by the test for coefficient of mean linear thermal expansion (YBB00202003-2015) or the test for coefficient of linear thermal expansion (YBB00212003-2015), which should be (3.5~6.1)X10-6K-1 (20~300℃).
(2) Content of B2O3 is tested according to the determination method of B2O3 (YBB00232003-2015), and the content of B2O3 should not be less than 8%.
[121℃ Hydrolytic Resistance of Glass Grains] To measure it according to the tests and classification for hydrolytic resistance of glass grains at 121 °C (YBB00252003-2015), it should meet the Class 1.
[98℃ Hydrolytic Resistance of Glass Grains] To measure it according to the tests and classification for hydrolytic resistance of glass grains at 98 °C (YBB00362004-2015), it should meet the Class HGB1.
